Basic Configuration
This section covers the core settings you will use most often. Since many properties repeat across different sub effects, we will not go through every single one in detail. Each field in the inspector includes a tooltip, so you can simply hover over a property to see a short description when you need it.
Lightning Strike Config
Height
Defines the height of the lightning strike. The bolt starts from this position along the local Y axis and hits the position of the VFX Graph GameObject.
Tiling
Defines the texture repeat values along the X and Y axes
Color
Defines the color transition along the lightning strike
Lifetime
Time until the lightning strike finishes.
Delay
Time before the lightning strike starts.
Procedural Width
Defines the overall thickness of the procedural lightning
Procedural Noise Scale
Controls the amount of procedural noise applied to the lightning. Works only when distortion is greater than zero
Distortion
Determines how much the lightning shape is distorted. Requires noise to be enabled for visible results
Custom Lightning Texture
Assigns a texture for the lightning appearance
Custom Width
Sets the width of the custom lightning texture
Custom Scroll speed
Y Scroll Speed of the custom texture
Basic Configs for Sub Effects
Many sub effects such as Flash, Impact, Glow or Electricity share the same base configuration options.
Enable Effect
Flag to enable/disable the specified effect
Size
Sets the size of the particles used in the effect
Lifetime
Determines how long the effect remains active before fading out
Color
Defines the HDR color for the specific effect
Count
Number of particles spawned each time the effect is triggered
Texture
Assigns a texture for the effect appearance
