ShieldBehaviorConfig – Quick Reference

Shield Size

Defines the local transform size of the shield

Hit VFX

Prefab for hit bursts using Sphere Mask + particle system.

Note: Use the same 3D Models for the Hit Effects and the active shield to ensure proper visual effects.

Shield Spawn

Controls spawn animation (duration, visibility, size).

Damage State

Animates any float-based shader property via curves (e.g., glow, instability).

Smooth Time

Transition duration to new damage state after a hit.

Final Hit Animation

Defines pierce-through effect when shield breaks (position + strength curves).

Explode Animation

Post-destruction effect controlling collapse or explosion via curves.
